Ashley and Dylan | National Arboretum Engagement Shoot
On a beautiful summer evening at the National Arboretum, Canberra I met up with Ashley and Dylan to test out my new upgrade to the Canon 5d Mkiii camera. Ashley and Dylan are getting married in 2015 with their wedding at one of Canberra’s favorite wedding locations Tuggernong Homestead. Tuggeranong Homestead is the perfect location for weddings in Canberra as it provides the ceremony and reception location conveniently in the same spot, plus amazing photo locations such as the wool shed, paddocks and homestead itself. One of my favorite locations to photograph in the National Arboretum Canberra is the cedar pine forests, which offer beautiful foliage cover if the day is quite bright for photos, and offers a beautiful sunset overlooking the Brindabella Mountains to the west of Canberra.
I loved how Ashley dressed a little Bohemian for this engagement shoot, topped off with a simple delicate flower crown. Her beautiful white lace dress just looked so flowy and soft, a great styling inspiration for engagement shoots! And ‘hats off’ to Dylan for being so relaxed and co-orperative in this Arboretum engagement shoot! It is sometimes hard to overcome nerves of being photographed, but he was so chilled out with a little direction it certainly made it more fun for all of us!
