#ONE FRAME – A Canberra Sunset
I had a fantastic opportunity offered in the past month when I was approached by Australian Traveller Magazine to photograph various locations and be the feature photographer for their upcoming December print edition. This edition will feature 30 pages of Canberra and the surrounding areas which are fantastic for tourists, destination weddings and fine dining. After 2 days of driving around Canberra ticking off the boxes for what I had to cover it, I finally ended up at the National Arboretum Canberra to do some sunset shots. One of the more unusual plants in the Arboretum is the Smokebush, a tree with fuzzy flowers that form in spring which resembles smoke when looking at it from a distance. These combined with the sun setting which accentuated the flowers formed the photo I wanted to feature this week for my One Frame Post. If you haven’t had a chance to get to the Arboretum – I suggest going soon. After all the rain we have had lately, it is looking particularly green and luscious!
